I am a self taught artist and may therefore lack the convention found in works by more formally trained artists

Two decades ago I experience an accident that changed the course of my musical career and opened the door to painting to help my continued desire to express my creativity. While I have also adapted musically, I have taken the deep dive into understanding and evolving my relationship with paint and canvas.

My craft is therefore a result of years of experimentation, YouTube and Google tutoring, and happy accidents on the canvas

My medium of choice became oil painting, it may take a bit longer to produce but it also offers some forgiveness as well as opportunities to explore some unexpected adventures in each journey upon the canvas

I love the flexibility with color and the discovery of new colors through blending and through texture

Painting, like music, is intended to strike some emotional chord in the viewer and hopefully my creations will make a connection with some

The content of my pieces is intended to blend fantasy with both beauty and surrealism through figure and color
